Having served in Laska’s leadership team for more than 20 years, the company will be saying goodbye to its long-time technical director DI Alexander Brinnich when he retires at the end of 2020.
His dry “Tyrolean way” combined with the tenacity and determination of an endurance athlete has had a lasting influence on the philosophy and actions of the company since 5 June 2000 - always following the premise that “further development is not a sprint, but a marathon”.
He led the way with vision, always keeping the overall development of the company in mind. He initiated the introduction of the most modern assembly methods for flexible operations along with numerous cost-saving measures. Apart from that, he was also committed to optimising sales activities and fulfilling customer wishes. For this purpose, and under his leadership, a test department for new developments or special product and customer requirements was established.
Even as he was nearing retirement, there was no standing still for him: brimming with drive and zest for action, he initiated the SAP introduction in the company and oversaw its implementation. Through all his actions, he paved the way for a successful future for Laska, just as he did with the current focus on automated production lines. In his capacity as technical director, he represented the company at numerous trade fairs and on business trips and with his insights and experience concerning market requirements and customer wishes he contributed to the decisive further development of machinery.
Maximilian Laska, who will be the sole managing director of Laska as of the 1st of January 2021, would like to extend his heartfelt gratitude to Mr Brinnich: “As head of technology, he played a decisive role in shaping Laska, but his experience and input were also highly valued in other areas. With admirable decisiveness, the necessary vigour and full commitment, he has always proceeded with the company's best interests in mind.”
The entire team at Laska explicitly does not wish Mr Brinnich a peaceful retirement, but instead many new sporting goals to which his paths will lead him and all the very best for this exciting time.
