Data protection information for the newsletter
This notice describes how Maschinenfabrik LASKA GmbH, Makartstraße 60, 4050 Traun, ("we"), process your personal data when you subscribe to the newsletter.
1. Which of your data we process
To subscribe to the newsletter, please enter your name and email address. Optionally, we ask you to enter a name in order to address you personally in the newsletter.
We dispatch newsletters with promotional information, e.g. product and company information
Your subscription to our newsletter is handled as a double opt-in procedure. After subscribing you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary to prevent persons subscribing with third-party email addresses. Newsletter subscriptions are logged in order to be able to verify that the subscription process is in line with legal requirements. This includes storing the login and confirmation times as well as the IP address. Likewise, changes to your data as stored with the dispatch service provider are logged.
Dispatching of the newsletter, logging and performance measurement are carried out on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Par. 1 lit. a GDPR in conjunction with section 107 Par. 2 and 3 Telecommunications Act (TKG)). However, it is not possible to subscribe to the newsletter without the above personal data.
You can cancel your subscription to our newsletter at any time, i.e. revoke your consent without, however, affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent until revoked. You will find a link for canceling the newsletter at the end of each newsletter. If users have only subscribed to the newsletter and then canceled their subscription, their personal data will be deleted.
2. Performance measurement
The newsletters contain what is known as a web-beacon, i.e. a file the size of a pixel, which is called up by the server of the dispatch service provider when the newsletter is opened. Within the scope of this access, technical information such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval are first collected. This information is used for technical improvement of the services on the basis of technical data or target groups and their reading behavior on the basis of their access locations (which can be determined with the help of the IP address) or access times. Statistical surveys also include determining whether newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked on.
For technical reasons, this information can be associated with the individual recipients. However, it is neither our nor the dispatch service provider's intent to monitor individual users. Instead, these analyses help to identify the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to suit them, or to send different content to reflect the interests of our users.
The subscription procedure is recorded on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and serves as proof of consent to receive the newsletter, and to optimize the content.
3. Transmission of your data
For the purposes mentioned above, we will forward your personal data to the following recipients:
§ IT service providers used by us (Austria)
§ Website operator
§ The newsletter will be sent by CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede, hereinafter referred to as "dispatch service provider". You can view the data protection regulations of the dispatch service provider here: https://www.cleverreach.com/de/datenschutz/.
5. Your rights in connection with personal data, and contact information
You generally have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation of your consent and objection regarding your data stored with us. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection legislation, or that your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in any way, you can file a complaint with us or the data protection authority.
