The success story began when Johann LASKA established a small business in Obernberg am Inn producing sausage skins and ingredients for sausages. Purchase of a site opposite the Linz city slaughterhouse and building of the company headquarters for butcher’s supplies with a repair workshop for machinery. Expansion of the business and trade in machinery is well established throughout Austria before the First World War.
